1) FLYING BRANCH – 202/17F/SSC/M & W: –
योग्‍यता – मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय या संस्थान से उम्मीदवार 60% अंकों के साथ किसी भी विषय में स्नातक की डिग्री पास होना चाहिए।
या मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय या संस्थान से 60% अंकों के साथ किसी भी विषय में बीटेक की डिग्री।
आयु सीमा – 01 जुलाई 2017 के आधार पर 20 से 24 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए।
शारीरिक मानक – सहसंबद्ध वजन के साथ कम से कम 162.5 सेंटीमीटर ऊंचाई हो।

2- TECHNICAL BRANCH – 201/17T/PC/M, 201/17T/SSC/M & W: –
योग्‍यता – मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय या संस्थान से उम्मीदवार 60% अंकों के साथ चार साल का स्नातक / एकीकृत स्नातकोत्तर योग्यता होनी चाहिए।
OR Cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.
आयु सीमा – 01 जुलाई 2017 के आधार पर 20 से 26 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए।
शारीरिक मानक – पुरुष उम्‍मीदवारों के लिए ऊंचाई 157.5 सेंटीमीटर और महिलाओं के लिए 152 सेंटीमीटर हो।

3) GROUND DUTY BRANCHES – 201/17G/PC/M, 201/17G/SSC/M & W:-

योग्‍यता –
प्रशासन एवं रसद: – मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय या संस्थान से 60% अंकों के साथ उम्मीदवारों ग्रेजुएट डिग्री पास होना चाहिए।
OR Cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.

एकाउंट – मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय या संस्थान से उम्मीदवार 60% अंकों के साथ B.Com डिग्री पास होना चाहिए।
Education: – Candidates should have passed MBA/ MCA or MA/ M. Sc. degree in English/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Statistics/ International relations/ International studies/ Defense studies/ Psychology/ Computer Science/ IT/ Management/ Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Public Relation with 50% marks from recognized university or institute.

आयु सीमा – 01 जुलाई 2017 के आधार पर 20 से 26 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए।
शारीरिक मानक – पुरुष उम्‍मीदवारों के लिए ऊंचाई 157.5 सेंटीमीटर और महिलाओं के लिए 152 सेंटीमीटर होनी चाहिए।

इंडियन एयर फोर्स भर्ती में वेतनमान –
फ्लाइंग ब्रांच के लिए – 82,050 रुपये प्रति माह।
तकनीकी शाखा के लिए – 71,550 रुपये प्रति माह।
फ्लाइंग ब्रांच के लिए – 68,550 रुपये प्रति माह।

टाइप ऑफ कमीशन –

• Permanent commission: – Candidates joining as Permanent Commission (PC) officers would continue to serve till the age of superannuation.
• Short service commission: – (A) The Engagement period for SSC Flying Branch is Fourteen years from the date of Commissioning (Not extendable).
  (B) The initial tenure for Short Service Commission officers in Technical and Ground Duty Branches would be for a period of ten years. An extension of four years may be granted subject to willingness, service requirements and availability of vacancies.

Training: – Training is scheduled to commence in the first week of July 2017 for all courses. The duration of training for Flying and Technical Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.

Selection process: – Candidates who are short-listed on the basis of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT/ EKT) will be called for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) at Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, Varanasi or Kancharapara. The testing would consist of three stages as given below.
(A) Stage-I Test consisting of Intelligence Test along with other tests will be conducted on the first day. Stage-I Test is a screening test and only those who qualify would undergo subsequent testing.
All Stage-I qualified candidates would be subjected to document check to ascertain their eligibility for the branches applied for. Those candidates who either do not qualify in Stage-I testing or do not meet the required eligibility criteria would be sent back on the first day itself.
(B) Stage-II testing consisting of Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview will be conducted on subsequent days (Five Days).
(C) For Flying Branch: CPSS (Computerized Pilot Selection System) and / PABT would be administered to eligible candidates
